It is a beautiful experience when composing a song to have a little inkling pop into your head, and then you having a thought to yourself that says, “I wonder what would happen if….” That’s exactly what happened when I was composing this. I wondered what would happen if I paired up Brahm’s Lullaby and Silent Night together. I love that the two came together and I can just envision Mary singing a lullaby to her baby Jesus, and angels supporting her as they also sing to their baby Jesus.
